A Note from Henry's Gelato about Allergies

Henry's Gelato is manufactured on equipment that processes peanuts, tree nuts, and diary products.  We take every precaution as we clean and sterilize our machinery to eliminate the risks of cross-contamination.  However, because of the nature of our business, some gelato may come into contact with these or other allergens, such as gluten or eggs.

We make no provisions to be nut-, dairy-, or gluten-free. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment and strongly encourage customers to take all necessary medical precautions to prepare for the possibility of exposure. If you or anyone in your party is allergic to  nuts, dairy, eggs, or gluten, you are strongly advised to take the necessary precautions for your safety.

We believe the sorbets, for example, to be dairy-free, but there may be traces of lactose of which we are unaware.

Potential Allergens

Peanuts: On any given day all other flavors are manufactured before flavors containing peanuts. After manufacturing a peanut-based gelato, the machinery is thoroughly cleaned and sterilized. Additionally every container has its own spatula to avoid cross-contamination.

Tree nuts: On any given day, all other flavors, except those that are chocolate-based, are manufactured before those containing tree nuts. After manufacturing a nut-based gelato the machinery is thoroughly rinsed. Additionally every container has its own spatula to avoid cross-contamination.

Lactose/Dairy: Our sorbet flavors are water-based and may contain traces of nonfat dry milk. Those with severe lactose intolerance should take the necessary precautions.

Gluten/Wheat/Soy: The sorbet base product is manufactured on equipment that also processes wheat and soy. Waffle cones, sugar cones, and waffle wedges contain wheat flour.

Eggs: To our knowledge, Henry's Gelato contains no eggs or egg-based product.
